状況 (英語)
In a busy restaurant, a group of customers gather around the 收银台 (cashier | shōuyín tái), animatedly discussing their 账单 (bill | zhàngdān) with the owner.
A customer, waving the 账单, asks, “这个 总计 (total | zǒngjì) seems higher than expected. Can we 确认 (confirm | quèrèn) the 金额 (amount | jīn’é)?”
With a friendly smile, the owner patiently goes through each item, explaining the 服务费 (service charge | fúwù fèi) and any 加料费 (extra charges | jiāliào fèi).
Another customer interjects, “And what about 打折 (discounts | dǎzhé)? Wasn’t there a 满减 (full discount | mǎnjiǎn) offer?”
The owner nods, “Let me check.” He adjusts the 账单 to make sure everything is correct. Now satisfied, the customers proceed to 付款 (make the payment | fùkuǎn), using a mix of 现金 (cash | xiànjīn) and 信用卡 (credit cards | xìnyòngkǎ).
