The Situation
Two young men stood excitedly at the Paris airport, their 机票 (plane tickets, jīpiào) ready for their 6-month adventure in China.
“Have you checked our 航班 (flight, hángbān) details?” one asked.
“Yes, and we have to go to the 登机口 (boarding gate, dēngjī kǒu) soon,” replied the other, glancing at his 登机牌 (boarding pass, dēngjī pái).
“I hope our 行李 (luggage, xínglǐ) makes it safely,” the first one said, a bit worried.
“After 安检 (security check, ānjiǎn), we can relax in 候机 (waiting area, hòujī),” his friend reassured him.
“I can’t believe we’re finally going to China!” he exclaimed with a grin.
